On the morning of July 12, the Provincial Inspectorate held a conference to announce and hand over decisions on appointing officials, leaders, and managers at the department level (after the merger of Yen Bai province and the old Lao Cai province). Comrade Ha Duc Minh, Provincial Party Committee member, Chief Inspector of the province chaired the conference.

After the merger, Lao Cai Provincial Inspectorate has 210 leaders and civil servants with 9 affiliated departments.

At the conference, decisions on appointing department-level leaders, assigning job positions to officials and civil servants were announced; and the operating regulations, functions and tasks of the agency and specialized departments were thoroughly implemented.

Speaking at the Conference, the Chief Inspector of the province stated: In order to perform its tasks well, in the coming time, the Provincial Inspectorate will continue to closely follow the leadership and direction of the Central Government, the province, and the sector in organizing activities and operating the Provincial Inspectorate apparatus in a synchronous, unified, and effective manner; strive to overcome difficulties, especially in terms of facilities; assign specific tasks to each civil servant to ensure clear identification of people, work, responsibilities, time, and results.
