Tam Diep City announced the decision to establish a Management Board for ranked relics.

On November 8, at Yen Binh Ward People's Committee, Tam Diep City People's Committee held a conference to announce the decisions to establish the Management Board of ranked historical and cultural relics in the city.

At the conference, the People's Committee of Tam Diep city announced 4 decisions to establish the Management Board of relics including: Management Board of historical - cultural relics ranked in Tam Diep city; Management Board of historical relics - scenic spots of Tam Diep - Bien Son Defense Line; Management Board of historical and cultural relics of Dau temple and Management Board of historical and cultural relics of Quan Chao temple.

The Management Boards perform their duties on a part-time basis. The duties of each member are assigned by the Head of the Management Board.

After the Historical-Cultural Relics Management Boards are established and put into operation, they will focus on the following main tasks: Advising the City People's Committee to direct the implementation of Decision No. 34/2015/QD-UBND dated December 14, 2015 of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee on promulgating the Regulations on management, protection and promotion of the value of historical-cultural relics and landscapes ranked in the province; promulgating documents on management, protection, preservation and promotion of the value of historical-cultural relics and landscapes ranked in the city according to regulations; proactively implementing preventive measures and promptly stopping violations of relics; researching, exploiting and promoting the cultural and historical values of relics; creating favorable conditions for people to come to practice religion, visit and learn about relics, etc.

Currently, in Tam Diep city, there are 68 inventoried relics, of which 6 have been ranked (1 national relic, 5 provincial historical and cultural relics). The establishment of the Relics Management Board will contribute to further improving the effectiveness of management, protection and promotion of the value of relics, especially historical and cultural relics that have been ranked in the city according to regulations.
