This activity is part of the project “Application of remote medical services to enhance access to health services for vulnerable groups in Vietnam” chaired by the Ministry of Health and funded by the Korea International Health Care Organization (KOFIH) through the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). Ca Mau province is one of 10 provinces nationwide receiving the project “Application of remote medical services to enhance access to health services for vulnerable groups in Vietnam”.

Training content includes: Legal basis and orientation for remote medical examination and treatment; Introduction to the Project and software "Doctor for every home"; Instructions for using software on computers; Instructions for using software on mobile phones; Implementation plan of the Project "Remote medical application to increase access to medical services for disadvantaged groups in Vietnam in Ca Mau province.
"Doctor for every home" is a useful software in providing remote medical examination and treatment services.
The training course aims to improve the capacity of the health system, providing high-quality remote medical examination and treatment services at the grassroots level in Ca Mau province. Through this, it helps people in communes to access early, quality medical services with the expertise of higher-level hospitals without having to travel far, saving costs and travel time. This also contributes to reducing the burden on higher-level hospitals, improving the effectiveness of health care and protection for the people.
The training course had 44 participants and lasted for 1 day.
