Festival of propaganda, consultation and answers to social insurance and health insurance policies

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - In response to Vietnam Health Insurance Day (July 1), on the afternoon of June 30, Social Insurance Region VI coordinated with the Department of Health and Thanh Hoa General Hospital to organize a festival to promote, consult and answer questions about social insurance and health insurance policies.

Social insurance and health insurance policies are the two main pillars of the social security system that have always been directed and implemented by the Party and the State. In recent times, especially since Directive No. 38-CT/TW dated September 7, 2009 of the Secretariat and Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee on strengthening the protection, care and improvement of people's health in the new situation were issued, the role of the health insurance policy has been increasingly promoted, helping millions of people access health care services.

With the desire that more and more people will have access to and benefit from social insurance and health insurance policies, especially health insurance, in recent times, the Social Insurance of Region VI, the Department of Health and Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital have always strived to fully and promptly implement health insurance policies; at the same time, they have coordinated to organize many activities to propagate, advise, answer policies, and mobilize people to participate in health insurance, contributing to ensuring sustainable social security, completing the targets and plans assigned by the Vietnam Social Insurance and the Provincial People's Committee.

Many officials, youth union members of Social Insurance Region VI, the health sector, people, patients and patients' relatives participated in the program.

2025 is a special milestone when Law No. 51/2024/QH15 of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Health Insurance officially takes effect (from July 1, 2025). The Law adds many new points, expands benefits for participants, improves procedures, enhances the application of digital technology , and creates favorable conditions for people to access and use health services.
