(ABO) On the morning of June 30, at the Cai Lay ward bridge, cadres, party members and a large number of people attended the Ceremony to announce the Resolution and Decision of the Central and local governments on merging provincial and commune-level administrative units, ending the operation of district-level administrative units, establishing Party organizations, appointing Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces, communes and wards, via an online screen connected to the central bridge at the provincial level.

Although only watching from the secondary bridge, the atmosphere at the Cai Lay ward bridge hall was still solemn and full of expectations. The ceremony took place in a bustling space of flags and flowers, where the government and people witnessed a special moment - when a new administrative institution was officially established, opening the model of a 2-level government: Province and commune/ward.

Accordingly, from early morning, the staff of Cai Lay ward were present to complete the preparation work. Tables, chairs, sound, LED screen and online transmission were carefully arranged to ensure that people could fully follow the content of the ceremony.

Mr. Le Thai Chuong, a resident of Long Khanh commune (old) now Cai Lay ward, expressed: Seeing the government reorganization, I was also worried, not knowing if it would be more complicated. But hearing the leaders explain that the merger was to streamline, to bring the government closer to the people, and to resolve issues faster, I felt secure and agreed. Hopefully, after the new ward is launched, the apparatus will quickly go into stable operation so that people can conveniently contact to resolve administrative procedures.
