14 hospitals qualified to deploy electronic medical records

14 hospitals in the province have met the conditions to deploy electronic medical records, including 5 provincial hospitals and 9 local hospitals.

Hospitals have established professional councils to deploy electronic medical records, ensure infrastructure, deploy His, LIS, PACS systems, deploy medical examination and treatment flows, digitize medical records, apply pilot electronic signatures, digitally sign medical record forms and complete subsystems such as: cashless payment connection, management and operation software.

Deploying electronic medical records brings many benefits such as: helping to reduce paperwork, save costs, increase accuracy and transparency in medical record management, and improve the quality of medical services.
