“Healing Wave” is a project jointly implemented by the Vietnam Children's Fund and the Heart-Starting Fund from August 2024, aiming to support children in difficult circumstances with serious illnesses, illnesses requiring surgery with high treatment costs, and at risk of death that their families cannot afford to access medical services and better treatment methods.

The project will be implemented within two years at hospitals, including: Children's Hospital 1, Children's Hospital 2, Oncology Hospital, Cho Ray Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City), National Children's Hospital (Hanoi), Dong Nai Children's Hospital and Binh Duong General Hospital, with a budget of about 10 billion VND.
Recently (May 2025), the project expanded its scope of support by 2 billion VND to support Hue Central Hospital, raising the total project budget to 12 billion VND, contributing to supporting at least 1,200 pediatric patients at leading hospitals across the country, from North to South.
After one year of implementation, the project has supported 66 children with serious illnesses with a total budget of nearly 2 billion VND. Of which, 1.76 billion VND was used to cover surgery and treatment costs; 144 million VND was used for nutritional care after treatment. 48 children have been successfully treated and discharged from the hospital, returning home to loving arms after a resilient journey fighting the disease.
With the initial results, the Tu Tam Startup Fund aims to increase the support level to 5 billion VND/year and expand the network of hospitals receiving sponsorship to the provinces in the Central region and the Mekong Delta.
