According to Bloomberg's ranking of the world 's richest billionaires, former US President Donald Trump's net worth is now $3.1 billion, an increase of $500 million compared to when he left office.

The figures were calculated based on Trump's asset declaration documents released amid the ongoing trial of the leader's business activities in New York. Trump, his children and the Trump Organization were accused of inflating the value of their assets for a long time to receive preferential loans and insurance.
The former president appeared in court on November 6, saying that the assets involved were actually undervalued and that banks had scrutinized his statements about his financial situation when disbursing loans, according to RT.
"They (the statements) were not a very important factor in the banks' decision-making process. And we explained this when the trial took place," Mr. Trump emphasized.
Regarding the financial state of the corporation, Mr. Eric Trump - son and vice chairman of the Trump Organization, recently said that "the company has never been stronger and better" than it is now. "We have the most cash and the lowest debt. We are in a great position," Mr. Eric declared.
Former President Trump's most valuable properties include the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, the penthouse at Trump Tower, the Trump Park Avenue apartment building and the Trump Building at 40 Wall Street, New York City.
In connection with the lawsuit filed by New York Attorney General Letitia James, Mr. Trump’s daughter Ivanka will appear in court to provide testimony on November 8. Ms. Ivanka was a vice president of the corporation before taking the position of senior advisor to her father when Mr. Trump entered the White House. In June, the appeals court removed Ms. Ivanka from the list of defendants because it said the allegations against her were too old, according to AP.
Through the lawsuit, Attorney General James seeks a fine of more than $300 million and a ban on Mr. Trump from doing business in New York.
