Apple's new move after Macbook price reduction

(NLDO) - Apple notes that during the ongoing promotion program, each person can only buy a maximum of 1 device.

Apple Vietnam has just launched the "Back to School" promotion program on the Apple Store online store for the 2025 back-to-school season. The program lasts until September 30, applicable to students, teachers andeducation staff.

Accordingly, when buying a MacBook Air/Pro laptop or an iMac desktop (from M4 version), customers will receive AirPods 4 headphones with a Lightning charging case. Or, buying an iPad Air/Pro (M3/M4 chip) will receive an Apple Pencil.

Customers can choose another gift product of lower value, or exchange it for another product of higher value but must pay the difference. Each person can only buy a maximum of 1 device during the program.

When buying a Macbook Air, Apple will give away Airpods 4. In addition, there is a discount of up to 10% on the Apple Care+ warranty support package.

According to the record, on the Apple Vietnam website, customers who buy a 13-inch Macbook Air M4 will receive a free AirPods 4, paying a total bill of 23.8 million VND. Similarly, customers who buy a 13-inch iPad Air (M3) will receive a free Apple Pencil Pro with a total price of 20.7 million VND... Compared to phone retail chains, the above selling price is 4-6 million VND lower.

However, many users have reported that the verification process to purchase this promotional product can often take a long time if not followed correctly.

Information about the "Back to School" promotion program

Previously, Apple attracted attention when adjusting the prices of a series of products such as iPhone, iPad, Macbook, Apple Watch and AirPods. This is a rare time Apple officially reduced product prices in Vietnam.

Specifically, iPhone 16 Pro Max 256GB reduced from 34.99 million VND to 34.3 million VND; iPhone 16 128 GB reduced from 22.99 million VND to 22.58 million VND, MacBook Air 13 inch M4 reduced from 26.99 million VND to 26.5 million VND...

This discount is equivalent to a reduction in value-added tax from 10% to 8%, according to Resolution 204/2025 recently passed by the National Assembly , effective from July 1. Notably, the listed prices of products on the Apple Store (not applying the "Back to School" promotion program) are still higher than those on other systems in the market.
