In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health has mobilized specialized human resources and medical equipment and supplies to be ready to go on medical support missions when required.

As of the morning of September 15, 16,134 family medicine bags donated by hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City had been transported by air and promptly delivered to the Departments of Health of Lao Cai, Lang Son, Phu Tho, Cao Bang, Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen, Bac Kan and Thai Binh provinces.

It is expected that on September 15, more than 10,000 family medicine bags will continue to be quickly sent to people in provinces heavily affected by storm No. 3.

Previously, realizing that people would need essential medicines such as fever reducers, stomachache, diarrhea, allergies, skin antiseptics, personal bandages... after the flood waters receded, the Department of Health launched a campaign to package 30,000 family medicine bags to support people in flood-affected areas.

Immediately, all hospitals registered to respond. On the night of September 13 and the morning of September 14, Children's Hospital 2 coordinated with Trung Vuong Hospital, Thu Duc Regional General Hospital, Tan Phu District Hospital and Le Van Viet Hospital to package 1,000 family medicine bags to send to people in Bac Kan province.

Another 1,000 medicine bags were also packed by the medical team of Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital overnight to be delivered to the people of Hoa Binh province as soon as possible.... In addition to supporting the medicine bags, the Ho Chi Minh City Health Department also prepared human resources to support the initial medical examination and treatment in the community.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health has assigned hospitals to provide medical support to provinces and cities. Accordingly, for each province affected by storm No. 3, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health has assigned 4-5 specialized and general hospitals to join forces to provide support.
