Thuan Hoa District completed 84 houses for poor and near-poor households

HNN.VN - After more than 3 months of implementing the work of eliminating temporary houses, dilapidated houses and Great Solidarity Houses in the area, by June 26, Thuan Hoa district had completed the set targets with a total of 84 newly built and repaired houses, providing new, spacious and solid housing for poor, near-poor households and families in difficult circumstances.

Accordingly, for the implementation of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, up to now, 30 houses have been started and handed over, including 6 new houses and 24 houses repaired with a total support cost of nearly 2 billion VND from the state budget, the City and District Fronts, and mobilized from localities, organizations, and enterprises. The program to build and repair Great Solidarity Houses was also completed on schedule with a total of 54 houses supported for new construction and repair.

Along with that support funding for house construction and repair, since the beginning of the year, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan Hoa district has supported production capital for 9 cases with a total budget of nearly 50 million VND so that poor households, near-poor households, and households in especially difficult circumstances after receiving funding support for house repair for great solidarity can have stable livelihoods.

At the same time, support for 10 cases of disadvantaged students, funeral assistance for 3 cases with especially difficult circumstances, 5 young people joining the army , support for the construction of 2 green cultural points in Vy Da and Phuoc Vinh wards with a total cost of more than 73 million VND.
