Previously, a post from a personal account appeared on social media reflecting that a group of tourists were "ripped off" when buying snacks at a street vendor on Duong Dinh Nghe Street (An Hai Ward, Da Nang City).
According to the article, at around 7 p.m. on July 13, a group of Lao tourists stopped at a street vendor on Duong Dinh Nghe Street (An Hai Ward) and ordered a number of dishes including: 4 octopus skewers, 2 okra skewers, 1 chicken foot dish and 3 Chinese sausages. However, the total bill was calculated to be up to 760,000 VND.
When the customer expressed disagreement because he thought the price was unreasonable, the restaurant only agreed to refund 200,000 VND, meaning the customer still had to pay 560,000 VND for the sidewalk meal.
The post included photos showing the restaurant as a street vendor with grilled dishes on display.

Immediately after receiving the feedback, the functional forces of An Hai ward came to check and handle the relevant information according to the feedback content. Accordingly, the case of the business household being reflected by Ms. L. (residing in Ngu Hanh Son ward, Da Nang city).
At the time of the inspection, Ms. L. was parking her mobile vending cart on the sidewalk of Duong Dinh Nghe Street. This is a street with regulations prohibiting street vending and soliciting customers.

The working group drew up a report requesting Ms. L. to move all carts and items encroaching on the sidewalk, and not to sell in locations and on roads where the city prohibits street vending.
At the same time, Ms. L. is requested to come to the headquarters of An Hai Ward People's Committee at 10:00 a.m. on July 16 to continue working and handling other information according to people's feedback.
