The 34th Corps is located in the strategic areas of the Central Highlands and the Southeast. The strategic area of ​​the Central Highlands is a key area for national defense and security, with a high proportion of ethnic minorities living mainly in the border, remote and isolated areas, with many economic difficulties, and is a target for reactionary forces and political opportunists to exploit for propaganda and incitement.

Therefore, in recent years, the 34th Corps has regularly focused on training and equipping soldiers with the ability to write, read, listen, understand the language and writing and communicate with ethnic minorities; at the same time, they can deeply understand the traditions, customs and practices of ethnic minorities; carry out well the mass mobilization work, constantly consolidate and strengthen close relationships with local people. During the learning process, students will have the opportunity to go on field trips, have direct dialogue with local people; learn about the culture, customs and practices of ethnic minorities... At the end of the course, the Organizing Committee will conduct tests, evaluate the results and issue certificates to qualified students.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Van Loc, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the 34th Corps, affirmed: “Proficient use of the Bahnar ethnic minority language is very important in the process of performing tasks. The training course not only improves the qualifications and skills of officers and soldiers, but also helps them understand and connect with the people, building a solid people's position in remote, isolated and border areas.
