After 17 days of implementing the 2-level local government model, Thanh Xuan ward has quickly completed its organizational structure, stabilized the operation of the political system, implemented activities, and achieved some remarkable results in the fields of: Socio-economic development, ensuring social security, national defense - security, administrative reform and digital transformation.
The ward Party Committee currently has 90 grassroots Party organizations with 7,657 Party members and 90 residential groups with a population of over 106,000 people.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Xuan Ward, Do Quang Duong, said that in the context of implementing the two-level local government model, the direct management role of the People's Committee of the ward and the coordination of the heads of residential groups are becoming increasingly important and practical. Although the heads of residential groups are not full-time officials, they are the "first cells" operating the entire management system from the grassroots level.
In particular, during the recent period of transfer and restructuring of the apparatus, with a large amount of work, cadres at all levels, especially cadres at the grassroots level, have made every effort to quickly adapt to the new context, requirements and tasks.
To effectively carry out the tasks, Chairman of Thanh Xuan Ward People's Committee Do Quang Duong suggested that the heads of residential groups focus on thoroughly reviewing, promptly proposing and reporting difficulties and problems, completing all assigned tasks, strengthening information work, widely disseminating information about operating methods, new regulations... to the people, so that all activities are synchronized, ensuring no congestion, no gaps in the process of serving people and businesses.
Along with reviewing the subjects to effectively carry out the work of gratitude and repayment on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27, the neighborhood leaders continue to promote the role of "representatives of the residential community", grasp the situation of the people, promptly reflect two-way information between the government and the people; at the same time, promote the emulation movement, mobilize people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State.
Comrade Do Quang Duong also requested that the heads of residential groups closely coordinate with departments, branches, and organizations to carry out tasks in residential areas such as: ensuring environmental sanitation, fire prevention and fighting in apartments and residential areas, preventing social evils, and preventing epidemics.
Along with that is guiding people to access digital platforms such as iHanoi, supporting the implementation of the "Digital Education for All" program, contributing to the construction of modern e-government and digital government; doing a good job of propaganda and mobilizing people to build a cultural life in residential areas, actively responding to patriotic emulation movements, building a civilized lifestyle, a green - clean - beautiful living environment...
