Nguyen Kim Duc, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee, said that in the first 6 months of the year, the political security situation and social order and safety in the area were stable. The work of rectifying urban order, traffic safety and environmental sanitation continued to be maintained, but there was still a situation of cars being parked in the wrong places, especially during rush hour.
The ward also controls and ensures control of the operations of conditional business establishments, preventing complicated violations. As of June 30, the ward's state budget revenue reached more than 523 billion VND.
At the conference, representatives of the ward party cells expressed their opinions on creating conditions for ward party cells to organize activities in accordance with regulations; and orienting the ward's development in the new situation.

Accordingly, the Ben Thanh Ward Party Committee handed over the decisions to establish the Party Committee of the Ward People's Committee; the Party Committee of the Ward Police ; the Party Cell of the Ward Party Cell; and the Military Cell of the Ward.
