The working delegation of Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Van Phuoc inspected the operation of 2-level government in Ha Tien ward.
Reporting to the provincial working delegation, the leader of the People's Committee of Ha Tien ward said that, implementing the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of An Giang province, Ha Tien ward arranged 587 cadres, civil servants, public employees, labor contracts according to Decree 111/2022/ND-CP and non-professional workers at the commune level.
Currently, the apparatus is operating stably, with 51 government officials, undertaking state management functions in various fields and serving the settlement of administrative procedures for the people; specialized departments are gradually operating stably, with specific tasks assigned to each unit's civil servant. Facilities and working equipment ensure the implementation of tasks after the merger; maintain and update the management system of executive documents, digital signatures, and electronic information pages serving the activities of local governments after the arrangement.
Ha Tien Ward has reviewed the decisions to announce the list of new, amended, supplemented, and abolished administrative procedures in 45 fields, and has currently reviewed 256/256 commune-level administrative procedures applied in the ward. The facilities, machinery, and equipment of the public administrative service center currently meet the requirements of serving the people.
From July 1 to 15, the Ha Tien Ward Public Administration Service Center received 315 new applications, of which 288 applications were received online, accounting for 91.43%, and 27 applications were received directly, accounting for 8.57%. 246 applications were resolved, of which 245 applications were processed before the deadline, accounting for 99.59%.

The equipment and facilities at the Ward Public Administration Service Center basically ensure the work is done; the network connection is stable for civil servants to process documents and people to submit documents online. From July 1 to 15, the center received 262 direct documents including land, civil status, authentication, copying, changing business registration content, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Van Phuoc highly appreciated the efforts of the authorities of Ha Tien ward and To Chau ward, which have basically operated well the two-level local government, especially the public administrative service center.
Considering that these are only initial results, the volume and tasks are still very large, especially new issues, the Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee noted that in the coming time, the two wards will continue to review the staff and civil servants to ensure suitability, increase training; the local government will closely monitor and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles for the operation of the public administrative service center.
At the same time, strengthen the sense of responsibility, continue to study regulations and guidelines with the highest sense of responsibility to best serve the people and businesses. Operate a two-level government with the goal of being close to the people, serving the people and businesses better.
Provincial and ward authorities need to coordinate well to overcome difficulties. Pay attention and provide early funding for operations and salaries for staff and civil servants. Consider and allocate capital for repairs and investment in equipment and facilities to serve the operation of two-level local governments, especially to better serve the people.
