Beef noodle soup is among the 10 dishes with the best meat broth in the world suggested by culinary site Taste Alas, alongside dishes from Taiwan, Thailand and Indonesia.

Taste Atlas, the website dubbed the "atlas of world cuisine ", introduced the 10 best meat-based dishes in the world in mid-November based on votes from 5,232 culinary experts and diners around the world. This list is intended to suggest and promote the delicious dishes of destinations around the world, arousing the curiosity of diners and the pride of people in traditional dishes.

Accordingly, beef pho ranked third with 4.6 points. The website describes this version of beef pho as having a broth made from beef bones, beef shank, oxtail and seasoned with spices such as cinnamon, star anise, cloves, white bean curd and coriander. The pho is served hot, in addition to pho noodles, there will be different types of beef such as brisket, flank, tendon, beef balls and some herbs sprinkled on top such as onions and cilantro.

Northern Vietnamese pho with rare beef is ranked 5th. According to Taste Atlas, this version differs from the above version in that it uses a combination of well-done and rare beef together. This part of the meat is cooked directly in the bowl with hot broth. The pho broth is simmered from bones, meat, ginger, onions, star anise, cloves, cinnamon and seasoned with fish sauce and sugar.

In both versions, diners can eat with bean sprouts, lime, fresh chili, chili garlic vinegar, chili sauce or black sauce. Adding these spices is not mandatory, depending on personal taste. However, the side dishes help the bowl of pho to be more flavorful.

The list of remaining dishes, ranked from 1 to 10, includes tom kha gai (Thailand), rawon (Indonesia), ciorba radauteana (Romania), gulyás (Hungary), rosół (Poland), beef noodles (Taiwan), Húsleves (Hungary), soto betawi (Indonesia).

Founded in 2015, Taste Atlas connects with 9,000 local restaurants, introduces more than 10,000 dishes, thousands of reviews, and research from culinary experts and chefs.
