According to TASS , on July 15, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that President Trump had issued a "theatrical ultimatum" to the Kremlin and Moscow did not care about it.

"Trump has issued a theatrical ultimatum to the Kremlin. The world is worried and predicts the outcome. The belligerent Europe is disappointed, and Russia does not care," Medvedev wrote in English on the social network X.
This is Moscow's first official response to the statements made by Mr. Trump on July 14.
In it, President Trump announced that he would impose "secondary" tariffs of up to 100% on Russia's trading partners if President Vladimir Putin did not agree to an agreement to end the Ukraine conflict within 50 days.
"If (Russia-Ukraine) do not reach a ceasefire agreement by September, we will apply secondary tariffs," the White House boss emphasized.
President Trump’s secondary tariffs are understood to apply to countries and entities that purchase Russian exports. However, Trump did not specify which products would be subject to the secondary tariffs.
