The highlights of Bac Ruong in the past 5 years have shown that. Every year, the commune maintains 19/19 criteria for building new rural areas; the commune has achieved new rural and advanced new rural standards at the end of last year. The face of the advanced new rural area is reflected in the village roads and alleys made of cement concrete, clean and beautiful; many spacious tile-roofed houses located close together on both sides of provincial road DT 717 running through the commune center and internal roads in residential areas. Also along both sides of that provincial road, there are gas stations, shops selling agricultural products, construction materials, fertilizers, pesticides; wedding party services; grocery stores, eateries, and cafes with eye-catching decorations, serving the diverse needs of the people's increasingly improved lives.

“The picture of social life in Bac Ruong has contributed to clearly demonstrating the basic economic restructuring in line with the orientation of the Party Committee of the commune over the past 5 years (2020 - 2025). In particular, the agricultural sector still plays a leading role, the proportion of this sector decreased from 49.3% to 39.5%, reaching 103.7% compared to the resolution of the commune. Total food output is 46,300/43,200 tons. Similarly, industry, handicrafts, and construction increased from 15.8% to 21.5%, reaching 104.8%; trade and services increased from 34.9% to 39%, reaching 101.3%. Room for growth

Currently, Bac Ruong's potential advantages still have much room for development. The commune has a total natural area of 165.33 ^km2 , a population of nearly 19,000 people; along with the available irrigation system, the main traffic route DT 717 connecting inter-commune to develop the economy of the South of Lam Dong province, creating conditions for the development of agricultural and forestry economy; industry, trade, services as well as attracting investment in the commune.

Currently, in the commune, there are 18 companies, enterprises, 696 production and business establishments (an increase of 126% compared to 5 years ago); 3 agricultural service cooperatives with a production land fund of 115 hectares. The locality has 3 products recognized as 3-star OCOP such as: Dong Dan turmeric and Dong Dan tapioca starch; organic rice products; bracelet beads. Bac Ruong aims to develop modern agriculture, form high-quality rice areas with large fields, strongly apply scientific and technical advances in production, technology, digital transformation, promote mechanization, automation, modernization in the entire production chain to improve productivity and quality. The locality has formed a chain of links between farmers and enterprises, cooperatives, and cooperative groups in the production and consumption of agricultural products with advantages in the locality. Bac Ruong has also effectively implemented the project of Restructuring the agricultural sector, improving the value chain of commodity products; has expanded and developed the high-quality rice area from 520 hectares to 900 hectares according to the Large Field model, producing organic rice, linking product consumption for farmers in the region. Some places in the area have also formed agricultural development combined with eco-tourism activities.

At the recent Congress of the Party Committee of Bac Ruong commune for the 2025-2030 term, comrade Nguyen Van Quang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee congratulated the achievements that the Party Committee and the people of Bac Ruong commune achieved in the past term. He highly appreciated the solidarity, unity, and efforts of the Party Committees, authorities, and people at all levels that have achieved many achievements such as: the economy continues to develop, people's lives are increasingly improved, and infrastructure is gradually completed. In order to successfully implement the set goals and tasks, the Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Party Committee of Bac Ruong commune to promote the spirit of solidarity, build a clean and strong Party Committee, government, and political system of the commune in all aspects. The locality needs to maximize its potentials, develop the economy in a sustainable direction; promote economic restructuring, and encourage the development of advantageous industries of the locality.
