Accordingly, the Prime Minister accepted and appointed Mr. Vu Manh Ha, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Minister of Health .
This decision takes effect from September 3.
Mr. Vu Manh Ha was born on April 12, 1979, hometown Xuan Truong district, Nam Dinh province (formerly), majored in general medicine, senior political theory.

Mr. Vu Manh Ha has held the positions of Standing Deputy Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee; Deputy Director of Ha Giang Provincial Department of Health; Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Ha Giang Province; Secretary of Hoang Su Phi District Party Committee (Ha Giang), Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee...
He has many contributions to ophthalmological research, volunteer activities to examine, treat and perform eye surgery for ethnic minorities, disadvantaged people, and highland people in Ha Giang province.
In 2021, at the 13th National Congress of the Party, Mr. Vu Manh Ha was elected as an alternate member of the 13th Party Central Committee, term 2021-2026.
Thus, the Ministry of Health currently has the following deputy ministers: Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen, Mr. Tran Van Thuan, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien Huong, Mr. Le Duc Luan and Mr. Vu Manh Ha. Of which, Mr. Vu Manh Ha is the permanent deputy minister.
