New British Foreign Secretary David Cameron traveled to Kiev to meet the President of Ukraine, in his first foreign trip since taking office.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today that British Foreign Secretary David Cameron had arrived in Kiev, but did not specify the time of the visit.
Former British Prime Minister Cameron, who was appointed British Foreign Secretary on November 13, said in a video posted by President Zelensky's office that he wanted to reaffirm London's support for Kiev.
"What I want to say when I come here is that we will continue to support you morally, diplomatically and above all militarily , not just this year but for as long as you need us," Mr Cameron said.

President Zelensky said he was very grateful for the British Foreign Secretary's actions, as the conflict in the Middle East is drawing global attention away from Russia's war in Ukraine.
" The world is no longer focused on the situation on the battlefield in Ukraine and this is really not beneficial," he said.
Ukraine is increasingly concerned that Western financial and military support for Kiev is waning after its major counter-offensive failed to yield much of a breakthrough.
Mr Cameron said Britain would work with its allies to ensure “attention remains focused on Ukraine”. Britain has been a close ally of Ukraine since Russia launched its war in February 2022.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said he had held talks with his British counterpart in Kiev. "The UK remains steadfast in its efforts to supply weapons to Ukraine, increase production cooperation and eliminate Russian threats in the Black Sea," he wrote on the X social network.
Ukraine is trying to build a maritime corridor across the Black Sea to restore seaborne exports, despite threats from Russia after Moscow withdrew from a grain initiative in July.
