On June 26, Hoang Anh Gia Lai University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital said that in order for PHCA (born in 2007, a student at Mac Dinh Chi High School, Chu Pah District) who suffered a serious injury to his right foot to be able to take the graduation exam in time, the doctors planned to administer medicine and change bandages from 5am so that he could leave the hospital at 6am and take the graduation exam.
Previously, on June 25, PHCA student on the way home unfortunately fell off her electric bike, so her family took her to the Emergency Department - University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital - Hoang Anh Gia Lai in a state of pain and fear.
Upon admission, the team of doctors examined and diagnosed A. with a crushed wound on the right ankle causing a fracture, dislocation and ruptured extensor tendon. This is considered a complex injury that needs to be treated immediately if the function of the leg is to be restored.

Immediately, the surgical team quickly performed surgery to remove, fuse the bone, fix the joint and connect the tendon for the child. Within 1 hour, the surgery was successful.
According to the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital - Hoang Anh Gia Lai, this patient's case is very special, because on June 26, A. entered the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, a very important exam for all 12th grade students to realize their dreams and big ambitions. Currently, A.'s health is stable.

In the 2025 high school graduation exam, Gia Lai has 16,213 candidates; 16,206 candidates are eligible to take the exam (approved). There are 42 official exam sites (including 13 joint exam sites and 1 exam site at Nguyen Du Secondary School, Pleiku City reserved for candidates taking the 2006 General Education Program exam); exam sites are arranged in 17 districts, towns, and cities with facilities and technical equipment meeting the requirements for organizing the exam according to regulations, with 709 exam rooms.
Each district, town, and city has arranged a backup testing site. Regarding personnel involved in organizing the exam, the Department of Education and Training has mobilized 2,686 officers, teachers, and employees to perform the task. On the afternoon of June 25, 135 candidates were absent, did not complete the procedures, and did not learn the exam regulations.
