Director of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Giang Province, Ta Viet Hung, said that this year's 10th grade entrance exam included three subjects: Literature, English and Mathematics. Thanks to good preparation, the exam was assessed to have taken place smoothly, safely and according to plan. The whole province had three candidates violating exam regulations, one of whom brought a mobile phone into the exam room and two of whom brought documents into the exam room.
In Ho Chi Minh City, there are more than 76 thousand candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam, of which the quota for public schools is more than 70 thousand candidates.
According to the explanation of the Ho Chi Minh City education sector, the number of candidates taking the 10th grade exam this year is lower, possibly because the number of students graduating from 9th grade this year is lower, on the other hand, more than 12,000 students have proactively not registered to take the 10th grade exam.
In Hanoi, 102,860 candidates registered to take the entrance exam to grade 10 of non-specialized public high schools at 201 testing locations with 4,411 official testing rooms and 201 backup testing rooms. The number of candidates who came to take the exam in Literature, Foreign Language and Math reached a rate of more than 99%. The entire city had one candidate who violated the exam regulations in the Foreign Language subject.
According to the leader of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the exam was successfully organized, meeting all requirements, and the exam supervision was carried out seriously.
