On December 7, the People's Council of Quang Ngai province announced that the delegates of the provincial People's Council approved a policy to support students studying at Le Khiet High School for the Gifted (Quang Ngai). This is a famous school in Quang Ngai, the "cradle" of training many excellent students of the province.

Accordingly, the support level is applied at 1.3 million VND/student/month for students from poor households, war invalids, martyrs, children in families that are victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, and orphans.
Students in extremely disadvantaged communes and villages, ethnic minority and mountainous areas, Ly Son island; ethnic minority students; and students with disabilities are also supported with 1.3 million VND/student/month.
The support money is given at the beginning of each school month and not more than 9 months/school year/student.
Quang Ngai province also supports scholarships for students of Le Khiet High School for the Gifted who have good conduct, good academic performance, and score 8.5 or higher in specialized subjects in each semester. This scholarship is 3 times the tuition fee charged by Le Khiet High School for the Gifted.
Quang Ngai Provincial People's Council delegates passed many resolutions, including a policy to support students at Le Khiet High School for the Gifted.
Students of the above specialized schools are also supported with additional scholarships to encourage learning if they win third prize, second prize or higher in the provincial excellent student competition or in the provincial science and technology competition.
Accordingly, the scholarship for students who win second prize is twice the tuition fee, and for students who win third prize is once the tuition fee. Students in the national excellent student competition team or the national science and technology competition who win first prize will receive a scholarship equal to three times the tuition fee.
Students of Le Khiet High School for the Gifted who reside 10 km or more from the school can stay in the dormitory for free. If the dormitory has no more space, they will be supported with a rent of 500,000 VND/student/month.
Priority policies for students of Le Khiet High School for the Gifted will be applied from January 1, 2024.
