The number 1 hope of Vietnamese women's badminton lost to the world's 35th ranked opponent 0-2 with the scores of the sets being 12-21 and 14-21 respectively.
This defeat prevented Nguyen Thuy Linh from winning the championship for the first time in the World Tour Super 300 system.
