On June 28, 2025, at the Hanoi Andrology and Infertility Hospital, 10 infertile couples in especially difficult circumstances burst into joy when they were awarded 100% IVF support within the framework of the program "Golden Week - Nurturing Happiness in 2025".

This is a priceless gift for families who long to have children, but the journey to find a miracle is always hindered by economic conditions, geography and reproductive health.
The "Golden Week" program organized by the Hospital annually since 2018 is not only a charity activity, but also an affirmation of the medical ethics mission when giving opportunities - sowing hope for infertile couples with economic difficulties.
For each supported case, the Hospital sponsors all costs from testing, egg stimulation, egg retrieval, embryo creation, embryo storage and transfer with a total value of up to about 100 million VND.
In addition, the selected couples' previous medical examinations and tests will also be fully reimbursed. More than just numbers, the program has become a place to hold on to the dream of becoming parents for hundreds of families, especially ethnic minority couples living in remote areas with limited medical care.
To ensure fairness and transparency, from April to May 2025, the Hospital received hundreds of applications from all over the country. Each application was not only reviewed on paper but also directly assessed by the Professional Council based on the actual circumstances. After a rigorous selection process, the 10 most outstanding families were selected.
According to MSc. Le Thi Thu Hien, Professional Director of Hanoi Andrology and Infertility Hospital, after many years of implementation, the program "Golden Week - Nurturing Happiness" has become a bridge to bring the dream of becoming parents closer to thousands of families across the country. Not only providing opportunities for free examination and consultation, the program also offers special packages to support 100% of the cost of in vitro fertilization (IVF) for couples in difficult circumstances.
“Their stories of strength have inspired us to constantly strive to improve our professional quality and expand our community activities. We always believe that any couple who is longing for a child deserves to be accompanied and shared. And the hospital's medical team will always be here, ready to stand side by side with families on their journey to reach miracles,” Dr. Hien emotionally shared.
Over the years, thousands of records from all over the country have been sent to the Hospital, each record is a true story full of aspirations, containing hope for children's laughter in an unfinished house.
The families who were approved have all had access to effective and appropriate treatment regimens, under the dedicated guidance of a team of leading experts. Not only the expertise, but also the understanding, dedication and closeness of the doctors and nurses have given them the strength and optimism to persevere on this arduous journey.
The atmosphere of the ceremony became even more emotional with the presence of families who had received free support during previous “Golden Week” seasons. They brought with them healthy children. This was the sweet result of years of waiting, like a silent gratitude to the doctors who had helped their dreams come true.
That is the journey of "sowing seeds" for happiness to "blossom and bear fruit", a journey not only of modern medicine, but also of humanity, companionship and trust given with all the heart.
