On August 21, according to Tuoi Tre Online , the Land Registration Office (Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Can Tho City) sent a response letter to the Can Tho Tax Department regarding information and prevention of asset dispersion, and enforcement of assets to recover tax debt of 600 billion VND from Ngan Thuan Construction Company Limited.

Ngan Thuan Construction Company Limited is the investor of the Ngan Thuan Binh Thuy residential real estate project, in Binh Thuy ward, Binh Thuy district, Can Tho city. The project has a total investment capital of 8,000 billion VND, and was approved for detailed planning 1/500 in 2005. This is an urban area sold in the form of land.

According to the Land Registration Office, on August 7, the unit sent an official dispatch to the Binh Thuy District Land Registration Office branch and units under the Land Registration Office to request not to sign confirmation of mortgaged assets for bank loans and other payments.

At the same time, no transfer is allowed in any form, for the purpose of dissipating assets.

In mid-2019, KITA Invest acquired this project from Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Bank ( Sacombank ) in the form of auction of liquidated assets. The starting price was 3,424 billion VND, later the project was renamed Stella Mega City.

The founding shareholder of Ngan Thuan Construction Company Limited is Mr. Nguyen Duy Kien. He is also the chairman of the board of directors of KITA Invest.

Regarding the tax debt of Ngan Thuan Construction Company Limited, on May 30, Can Tho Tax Department sent a notice to the Immigration Department ( Ministry of Public Security ) to request a temporary suspension of exit for Mr. Tran Van Bang - Director of Ngan Thuan Construction Company Limited.

The exit suspension period starts from May 30 until the taxpayer completes his/her obligations.
