Located at an altitude of 1,400m, Suoi Giang commune, Van Chan district ( Yen Bai ) is not only known for its fresh, cool climate but also for its 500 hectares of ancient Shan Tuyet tea trees hundreds of years old.

Mr. Luong Van Tam, Chairman of the People's Committee of Suoi Giang Commune, Van Chan District, said: "In the coming time, the district will continue to manage and preserve the existing tea areas and Shan Tuyet tea materials. Every year, the locality encourages people to plant new and replant to expand the tea area. People also pay attention to taking good care of the tea trees so that they can grow and develop, giving better yield and quality, thereby improving people's lives."
