Fortunately, as soon as the incident occurred, the Maritime Administration ship promptly discovered and rescued Khuong Dao, quickly bringing him to shore. From there, he was taken by ambulance to Mary Hospital for treatment. When admitted to the hospital, the male singer was still conscious, and his health condition did not worsen.
The unexpected information shocked many fans and netizens, expressing their concerns on social networking platforms.
Currently, Khuong Dao's management company has not released an official statement. Meanwhile, when asked at the event in Causeway Bay, a member of the same group only said "it is unclear what happened".
The manager then posted the information on behalf of Khuong Dao via Instagram story. The male idol also sent a message to reassure fans: “I was just a little careless and had a small accident. I'm fine, everyone can rest assured. I hope everyone doesn't speculate any further. I'm really sorry for making everyone worry."
Some sources spread that the male singer fell due to drinking alcohol. According to HK01 's source, before the incident happened, the male singer was jogging and felt unwell so he leaned on the railing to rest, unfortunately slipped and fell into the sea. Because his phone was damaged by water and he could not log into Instagram due to forgetting the password, he borrowed his manager's account to reassure his fans.
