As of 8:00 a.m. on August 31, according to the independent box office website Box Office Vietnam, Red Rain reached a revenue milestone of over 305 billion VND.

Notably, the film continued to maintain its position as the top 1 daily box office hit, selling 290,117 tickets with a very high number of 5,253 screenings, earning over 27 billion VND in revenue.
Also according to Box Office Vietnam statistics, on August 30, Red Rain set a record of earning more than 40 billion/day.
Previously, only Mai and The Four Guardians generated revenue in one day of over 40 billion VND. The highest revenue record in one day of Vietnamese cinema was set by Mai , reaching 43.9 billion VND on February 14, 2024.
If we count the revenue milestone of 300 billion VND, Red Rain is currently only behind Tran Thanh's Mai (8 days). Previously, 4 films that reached this revenue milestone all took more than 10 days, including: Lat mat 7: Mot giau uoc by Ly Hai (more than 10 days), Nha ba Nu (11 days), Bo tu bao thu (12 days) and Bo gia (15 days).

With its current box office performance, Red Rain will certainly surpass the revenue of The Four Guardians (VND332 billion) to reach the number 1 position on the chart of Vietnamese films with the highest revenue in history. Many audiences are also waiting for the film to surpass the records of The Lady's House (VND475 billion), Flip Side 7: A Wish (VND483 billion) and Mai (VND551 billion). However, the possibility of the film reaching the VND400 billion revenue mark in the coming days is completely feasible.
Red Rain is currently completely overwhelming the remaining movies showing in theaters.
