On the afternoon of June 20, according to information from the Department of Culture and Sports of Quang Ninh province, the unit has just issued a plan to organize 13 training courses on swimming skills and drowning prevention in localities in the area.

Each training course will last 4 days with 40 - 60 students/class. The courses will be held in different localities, starting in Dong Trieu town, Uong Bi city from June 12 and ending in Co To island district on August 1.
These training courses are for trainees who are officials, civil servants, and collaborators working in the field of physical education and sports in communes, wards, towns, districts, towns, and cities in the province; Youth Union members working in youth and children's movements in communes, wards, and towns; Physical education teachers at schools, instructors at sports businesses, employees, and crew members on water vehicles.
The training courses will provide basic knowledge, safe swimming skills, drowning prevention; Provide swimming programs and survival skills; Monitor the water environment, water rescue techniques, artificial respiration and situation handling; Some basic swimming and drowning rescue techniques in specific situations often encountered in practice .
