According to the statistics compiled by the Provincial Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses, as of July 14, the entire Dak Lak province (new) has implemented support for the construction and repair of 8,471/9,493 houses, reaching 89.23% of the plan; of which, 6,545/7,325 houses were newly built, 1,926/2,168 houses were repaired, and 6,234 houses have been handed over and put into use (reaching 65.67%).
Specifically, 607/643 houses for policy families and meritorious people have been built; 726/818 houses for the National Target Program under Decision No. 90/QD-TTg; 549/1,021 houses for the National Target Program under Decision No. 1719/QD-TTg; 6,589/7,011 houses for poor and near-poor households from the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

Currently, of the 890 houses that have not been built, 636 have not been built because they do not meet the conditions, refuse support, and have received support from other programs. The whole province still has 254 houses that need to be started.
Thus, up to now, the whole province has had 80/102 communes and wards complete 100% of the planned construction volume; 22 communes have not yet completed the construction.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan emphasized that in order to complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province and handing them over to people before August 15 as directed by the Prime Minister , departments, branches and localities must be urgent and determined in directing and implementing.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested units and localities to be responsible for finalizing the data on houses in need of support and the number of houses that have not started construction accurately and clearly for timely implementation; the number of houses removed from the support program must ensure clear reasons; specifically review the number of houses of people with meritorious services to the revolution that have not been completed and handed over to urgently coordinate timely handover to the subjects; the Department of Finance must balance and allocate funds immediately to units and localities... Along with that, the number of houses that have not been implemented must start construction no later than July 18.
Leaders of localities with slow progress must clearly assign people and tasks, resolutely speed up construction progress, and commit to completion time, especially in communes with a large number of houses that have not yet started construction such as Ea Sup, Ea Bung, Ia Rve, Hoa Son, Cu Pui...
