Over 697 billion VND to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province

Implementing the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area, the whole Dak Lak province has completed and handed over 100% of the support for building new and repairing 8,915 houses to households; of which the old Phu Yen province has completed 2,235 houses.

The total budget for support is over 697 billion VND. Of which, the central budget allocated nearly 293 billion VND; the budget from the 5% savings source on regular expenditure in 2024 is nearly 140 billion VND; the local budget is over 132 billion VND; contributions from families are over 107.6 billion VND, and other socialized sources are over 24 billion VND.

From the support fund, the whole province has built and repaired 607 houses for people with revolutionary contributions; 799 houses for subjects under the National Target Program according to Decision No. 90/QD-TTg dated January 18, 2022 of the Prime Minister ; 526 houses for subjects under the National Target Program according to Decision No. 1719/QD-TTg dated October 14, 2021 of the Prime Minister and 6,983 houses for poor and near-poor households under the Program to launch the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses according to Official Dispatch No. 102/CD-TTg dated October 6, 2024 of the Prime Minister.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of the province (Standing agency of the Steering Committee for the implementation of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province), the program was implemented synchronously, promptly, closely, and in accordance with regulations, promoting the spirit of volunteerism and self-awareness of each citizen and spreading humanity and kindness; mobilizing the combined strength and all social resources, the participation of the entire political system, the business community and all classes of people to join hands to achieve the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.
