Sa Pa lights up in the art night “Pride of Vietnam – 80 years of glorious country”

On the evening of August 31, the People's Committee of Sa Pa Ward organized the art program "Pride of Vietnam - 80 years of glorious country". This is one of the highlight activities of the Sa Pa Autumn Festival 2025.

This is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The program was elaborately staged, harmoniously combining singing, dancing, music and documentary images, bringing the audience a solemn and emotional artistic space.

Part one – The desire for independence, the belief in certain victory – opens with the scene “Independence Day” and a documentary film of President Ho Chi Minh reading the Declaration of Independence. Next are familiar revolutionary songs, such as: Ho Chi Minh’s song, Far away land, The road to the front, the mashup Len dang – Tuoi tre the generation of Uncle Ho, Dat nuoc tron ​​niem vui… performed completely by the voices and dances of non-professional singers and actors. That jubilant atmosphere took the audience back in history, reliving the sacred moments of the nation, while fostering pride and deep gratitude to the generations of fathers and brothers.

Part two – Sa Pa shines, the desire to reach far – brings a fresh, colorful space of the Northwest highlands. Songs and art performances, such as: Marching song on Fansipan peak, Singing on Hoang Lien peak, Beautiful highland girl, Mong Vong Nui dance, Dao drum soul dance… recreated the natural beauty and culture of Sa Pa.

The colors of Sa Pa are fully expressed through artistic performances.

Closing the program, the immortal song "As if Uncle Ho were here on the day of great victory" was sung, creating a solemn and emotional atmosphere.

The atmosphere of the art program became exciting thanks to the enthusiastic cheering of a large number of tourists and locals.

The art program “Proud of Vietnam – 80 years of glorious country” is not only an epic tribute to generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for independence and freedom, but also an affirmation of the strong aspiration of the people of Sa Pa in particular and the whole country in general in the new journey of integration and development.
