Tourists to Da Nang on September 2nd holiday increased compared to the same period in 2024

On the occasion of National Day September 2, 2025, Da Nang is expected to welcome a large number of visitors with more than 730 flights, room occupancy reaching 55-60%. The city will organize nearly 50 exciting cultural, artistic and sporting events, along with many attractive incentives, promising an impressive holiday for residents and visitors.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City said that during the 5 peak days (from August 29 to September 2), Da Nang International Airport is expected to receive 730 flights, an average of 146 flights/day, an increase of 25.9% compared to last year.

Of which, there are 436 domestic flights (up 35.4%) and 294 international flights (up 14.8%). Chu Lai airport alone is estimated to reach 34 domestic flights, equivalent to 2024.

Some tourist attractions such as Sun World Ba Na Hills, Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, Mikazuki, 365 Water Park, VinWonders Nam Hoi An and Hoi An Ancient Town are expected to attract a large number of visitors.

Many hotels along Vo Nguyen Giap beach, Ngu Hanh Son area and Hoi An have been decorated with flags and flowers, and have launched many special promotions and events to serve and retain tourists during the holiday season.

This occasion is also associated with an important political event - the 23rd Congress of the Da Nang City Party Committee (term 2025 - 2030). On the occasion, the city organized about 50 cultural, artistic and sports activities, notably the art program "Da Nang Concerts" taking place on the evening of September 2 at the front of the Da Nang Museum, celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day and the City Party Congress.

In addition, there will be special art programs at 29.3 Square (September 12) and 24.3 Square (September 13), along with a series of cultural events and festivals on both banks of the Han River, notably the Open Traditional Boat Race for the VTV8 Cup 2025 and a water sports performance on August 31 on the Han River.

In particular, on September 2, visitors will receive free tickets to visit Ngu Hanh Son and the museum system in the city.

Along with that, many exhibitions, displays and experiences are organized such as the Exhibition "Young Fine Arts - Da Nang 2025" at the Museum of Fine Arts, the program "Creative Summer" or the thematic exhibition "Special National Monument of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam" at the Da Nang Museum.

In addition to large-scale activities, localities in the area also implement many cultural, artistic, and community sports programs, mobile film screenings, reading festivals, photo exhibitions, etc. to create a joyful and cohesive atmosphere among the people.
