The background of the logo is the red flag with a yellow star fluttering, expressing patriotism, the will for independence and the desire for freedom. The logo was designed by author To Minh Trang ( Hanoi ). The highlight of the logo is the warm orange-yellow number 80, symbolizing the spirit of solidarity, the aspiration to rise of the entire nation and the will to unite for the goal of development. The logo combines the time markers of August 19 and September 2, associated with important historical events of the country.
This logo design is approved by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the management agency also requires organizations and individuals to use it according to the design to ensure accuracy and consistency.
