Man Utd set a loss price for Andre Onana

Manchester United are considering selling goalkeeper Andre Onana for less than the price they paid to sign him.

MU is ready to sell Onana this summer.

Onana joined United for £47.2m from Inter Milan in 2023 and has made 101 appearances for the Red Devils. However, the 29-year-old goalkeeper has never received full support from the Old Trafford fans due to frequent serious errors during his two seasons playing here.

Onana was even dropped from the first team last season by coach Ruben Amorim, which has fueled speculation about his long-term future at the club. Onana is said to still be keen to fight for a regular place, but United are planning to sell him this summer.

According to the Daily Mail , the club will let Onana leave if they receive an offer of around £30 million. If Onana leaves Old Trafford, MU will step up their plans to recruit goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa.

Former Louis Saha believes Martinez is the man United need: "Surely a top team needs an excellent goalkeeper. Martinez striker has been voted the best goalkeeper in the world for the past two years. Martinez shows great stability and at the same time helps his teammates become more confident."

Another cheap, quality option is John Victor of Botafogo. The 29-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper impressed at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup™ and has been on the radar of the Red Devils since last summer. With a price tag of just £6 million and a desire to test himself in England, Victor is a financial economic option.
