Total output of live poultry meat for the whole year is estimated at nearly 2.31 million tons, up 6%; poultry egg output in 2023 is estimated at 19.22 billion eggs, up 5.2% over the same period in 2022.

Notably, our country's poultry eggs (fresh and processed eggs) have been exported to dozens of countries and territories around the world . However, poultry egg exports only account for about 1% of the country's total egg volume, the rest is for domestic consumption.

Vietnam is one of the countries with the highest poultry population in the world. Along with that, export opportunities for Vietnam's egg industry are also expanding as we have signed many trade agreements and traditional markets are reopening.

In addition, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has recently completed negotiations on the export of poultry meat and poultry eggs to Mongolia. In the context of poultry farming in Mongolia accounting for a very low proportion. Therefore, this is a potential market. Vietnamese poultry egg products will have many advantages when accessing this market.

In 2024, the Department of Livestock Production sets a target that the livestock production value will increase by about 4.0-5.0% compared to 2023; poultry meat output will reach over 2.31 million tons, up 3.1%; egg output of all kinds will be about 19.68 billion eggs, up 3.7%;...
