Not only business, Long Chau is dedicated to the mission of serving community health.
With more than 2,200 pharmacies operating in all provinces and cities across the country by June 2025, Long Chau is constantly striving to improve product and service quality, adhering to the principle of "right medicine, right time, right place, right person".
Cooperation is also a driving force for businesses to strictly control input sources, protect brand reputation, and ensure that each product reaching consumers meets quality standards.
Accordingly, the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Control will periodically or suddenly take samples and test functional food products and micronutrient-fortified foods that the Long Chau pharmacy system is or will be trading, thereby certifying and assessing the quality of products brought to the market.
Cooperating with the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Control is the next step in the campaign "Transparent origin for a healthy Vietnam" that Long Chau is implementing, while responding to the direction of the Ministry of Health on public and transparent information on medicines and health protection foods.
Jointly "double-check" with the highest-level testing unit of the health sector
The National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Control, Ministry of Health is the highest level food testing agency of the health sector. This is a unit that owns technical infrastructure, a synchronous and modern equipment system and a team of experienced and highly qualified human resources to perform testing, certification, appraisal, system assessment, research and training services related to food.
According to the agreement between the two parties, the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Control will send a specialized department to collect samples at the pharmacy or from the supplier. After that, the institute will apply professional expertise to test the product, or appraise the product batch according to regulations or evaluate the product certification.
At the event, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Cao Son, Deputy Director of the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene, shared that this is an important milestone in the cooperation between the two sides: the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene and FPT Long Chau Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company.

The Deputy Director emphasized: “ The Long Chau pharmacy system, with its presence across the country, in addition to distributing pharmaceutical products, is also a direct distributor of functional foods and micronutrient-fortified foods to consumers. Therefore, ensuring that the products distributed at the Long Chau pharmacy system meet quality and safety requirements is extremely important .”
It is known that in the recent past, both sides have discussed cooperation contents, not only limited to sampling, periodic testing or certification activities, shipment inspection and quality management system assessment according to standards such as ISO 22000, HACCP... but also including research, training and digital transformation activities.
At the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Bach Diep, Chairman and General Director of Long Chau pharmacy system shared: “ Proactively cooperating with the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Control - the highest inspection unit of the health sector, to regularly check product quality is something we find necessary and must do. In the coming time, Long Chau will continue to improve transparency, from product origin, legal documents, to publicizing information on invoices as well as the system's online platforms. People can easily look up, check and give feedback at any time. It is the trust of customers that motivates us to constantly improve and do better every day .”

Within the framework of cooperation, the institute will take on the role of “quality assurance expert” for the Long Chau pharmacy system. At the same time, both units will coordinate to implement digital transformation of healthcare, helping to optimize management, information storage as well as improve and enhance service quality and user experience.
Long Chau will conduct a “double check”: checking documents according to the law, specifically Decree 15, and regularly and continuously inspecting the actual quality of the product at the pharmacy and from the supplier before the product reaches the consumer.
Transparency of origin for a healthy Vietnam
Previously, Long Chau proactively launched the campaign "Transparent origin for a healthy Vietnam" following the latest direction of the Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health).
Accordingly, the system has pioneered in making the origin of pharmaceutical products transparent, integrating the feature of looking up the registration certificate of functional food products throughout the system.
Not only is information transparent through invoices, the website and application system of Long Chau pharmacy is also updated synchronously to support people to look up product information quickly and accurately anytime, anywhere before making a purchase.
Specifically, on the pharmacy's online platforms, all information related to drugs and functional foods is clearly disclosed.
Just by visiting the website https://nhathuoclongchau.com.vn/ or the Long Chau pharmacy application, users can easily access accurate information as well as check product quality before, during and after purchase.
