On August 29, a delegation of the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City led by Mr. Huynh Thanh Nhan, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and veteran revolutionary cadres on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Vice Chairman of the HCMC People's Council and the delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Duong Kim Lan (born in 1933, Tan Son Nhat Ward). Her husband, martyr Do Duy Phong, died in 1966 and her son, martyr Do Kim Hoa, died in 1971, is currently living with her daughter.
Comrade Huynh Thanh Nhan kindly inquired about the health and encouraged Mother Duong Kim Lan and expressed his deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of generations who fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland; wished Mother good health, a long life, a healthy life with her children and grandchildren, and always be a shining example for the younger generation to follow.
Next, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Mr. Hoang Trinh (born in 1935, Bay Hien ward), a pre-uprising cadre.

Presenting gifts to Mr. Hoang Trinh, comrade Huynh Thanh Nhan respectfully thanked him and wished him good health, happiness, longevity, and continued to be a shining example for his children and grandchildren to follow.
