This is an artistic activity within the series of events of the 2nd Ho Chi Minh City Music Festival, practically celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the 16th anniversary of Vietnam Music Day (September 3, 2010 - September 3, 2025).

Vietnam Music Day was inspired by the historical event of September 3, 1960, when Uncle Ho led the orchestra, choir and the capital's masses to sing "Song of Solidarity" at the Botanical Garden ( Hanoi ), celebrating the 15th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the 3rd National Party Congress. With that meaning, September 3 was chosen as Vietnam Music Day every year, first held in 2010.

The program "Song of Solidarity" was performed by 6 Composer Associations of the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association, introducing many new and award-winning songs such as: Beloved City, Forever Remembering His Grace, The Most Beautiful City in Me, The Day After With Uncle Ho, Visiting Uncle Ho's School, City of Faith and Aspiration, 50 Years of the City Shining with the Golden Name, Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh City, Faithful Faith, Around the City...
