Lao Cai: Nearly 3,600 people have received unemployment insurance

Since the beginning of 2025, nearly 3,600 people in the province have received unemployment insurance benefits with a total unemployment benefit of nearly 70 billion VND, an increase of 20% over the same period last year.

Along with that, the whole province also has 17 workers who have been supported with vocational training with an amount of over 85 million VND; over 2,200 people have been consulted and introduced to jobs.

To facilitate employees to enjoy unemployment insurance policies, Lao Cai Provincial Employment Service Center also encourages employees to access and submit their applications on the Public Service Portal... In case employees are unable to do so, the Center will provide direct support at the One-Stop Department of the Provincial Employment Service Center and Representative Offices.
