According to a report by the National Cyber Security Association, by 2024, up to 46.15% of agencies and businesses will have recorded cybersecurity incidents, with an estimated 659,000 cyber attacks occurring. However, up to 52.89% of organizations in Vietnam are still not fully equipped with technological solutions to respond to incidents. 56.16% do not have enough specialized personnel for cybersecurity. A report from Cisco also shows that only 11% of Vietnamese businesses have reached a level of maturity in responding to cybersecurity incidents, showing the urgent need for comprehensive security solutions.
In the context of cyber attacks increasing in number and sophistication, security has become one of the biggest challenges for organizations and businesses.
On July 2, Vietnam National Cyber Security Technology Joint Stock Company (NCS) officially announced the launch of the NCS cyber security product ecosystem. The comprehensive solution suite applies artificial intelligence (AI), designed to help agencies and businesses build a solid, effective security foundation, save operating costs and meet the increasing demands of the digital environment.
The NCS cybersecurity product ecosystem is built on the philosophy of combining modern monitoring technology, practical experience, artificial intelligence applications and using multiple intelligence data sources to form an effective multi-layered protection system. Products in the ecosystem include: NCS Next Generation Firewall; NCS TI Cybersecurity Intelligence Platform; NCS EDR Endpoint Cybersecurity; NCS SOC Cybersecurity Monitoring Center including NCS SIEM Centralized Cybersecurity Event Management and Analysis Solution and NCS SOAR Incident Response and Coordination Platform.
Mr. Vu Ngoc Son, CTO, Chief Architect of NCS cybersecurity product ecosystem shared: “We updated nearly 300 common hacker attack techniques, trained 12 specialized AI models, helping to increase the ability to identify cybersecurity risks and reduce manual operations. The ecosystem will help organizations and businesses protect the achievements of digital transformation, innovation, and application of science and technology”.
Mr. Vu Duy Hien, General Director of NCS, said that the products in the Ecosystem are oriented to comply with international and Vietnamese standards, researched, created and mastered by Vietnamese experts. At the same time, there is cooperation and technology transfer from foreign partners to shorten the time for research and application of the world's latest technology. The NCS product ecosystem not only provides Make in Vietnam protection solutions, but also pursues the mission of enhancing domestic strength, gradually building Vietnam's sovereign cybersecurity technology, contributing to the development of the cybersecurity industry.
