According to the Tourism System Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2045 approved by the Prime Minister in 2024, Tri An Lake area of Dong Nai is on the list of potential locations to develop into a national tourist area. This is an advantage for Dong Nai to open up a space for green and sustainable tourism development with unique eco-tourism products of forests, waterfalls, and lakes of the region and the whole country.
According to tourism experts, Tri An Lake can connect with traffic routes such as: Dau Giay - Lien Khuong Expressway; Long Thanh - Dau Giay - Ho Chi Minh City Expressway, Dau Giay intersection area near Long Thanh International Airport... Therefore, Tri An Lake has all the advantages to attract both international and domestic tourists. Up to now, Tri An Lake area has a number of destinations exploiting accommodation and sightseeing services to serve tourists.
Along with the advantages of developing national tourism, Dong Nai also has the advantage of exploiting eco-tourism products of forests, gardens, lakes... based on the achievements in building new rural areas, the natural advantages of Bu Gia Map National Park and Cat Tien National Park, along with famous historical and cultural relic sites such as: Nguyen Huu Canh Temple - the pioneer of the South; Tran Bien Temple of Literature; Ta Thiet Base; D War Zone...
Concentrate on making Dong Nai tourism take off
Dong Nai currently has many tourism projects calling for investors. As a leading industrial province in the country, it attracts millions of domestic and foreign workers to live and work. Therefore, Dong Nai is not only rich in tourism products, but also a large tourist market, which has long been well exploited by travel companies in and outside the province.
In recent years, some major tourism projects have begun to move, such as: The Mai Waterfall - Bau Nuoc Boil Ecotourism, Resort and Entertainment Project has now found investors and is implementing the project; The Dong Nai Nature and Culture Conservation Area Ecotourism Project has had 12 investors interested in registering to invest in tourism development locations according to the planning. Notably, Dong Nai province has recently officially launched the Chua Chan Mountain Ecotourism, Resort and Entertainment Project with the expectations of local people as well as provincial and central leaders.

At the same time, promoting the province's destinations, tourism products, and regional tourism products to strongly promote the nature, culture and people of Dong Nai.
