At the end of April, the Institute ofEducation and Environmental Sciences, the Vietnam Learning and Reading Culture Floor, the Institute of Cultural Anthropology, and the Hanoi Writers Association organized the launch of the book "The Road to the Future" (volume 1) by researcher and writer Nguyen Xuan Tuan.
Since its launch, the book has been evaluated by academics as providing insight into the country's future development in the fields of: Culture, history, economy , education, health, agriculture, science, technology and society, thereby contributing to the process of building a strong and sustainable Vietnam.
On June 19, a scientific workshop to evaluate volume 1 and orient the next volume of the book project “The Road to the Future” took place at the National Library of Vietnam with the participation of researchers, scientists, writers as well as experts in the fields of culture, education, social sciences and many other fields.

Colonel, Associate Professor, Doctor Tran Nam Chuan, former officer of the Institute of Strategy, Ministry of National Defense, believes that this is not simply a traditional educational work, but a harmonious combination of strategic thinking, entrepreneurial spirit and self-responsibility.
“It not only encourages each person to boldly pursue their passion, but also emphasizes the importance of ethics, community responsibility, and sustainable thinking. In the context of Vietnam moving towards sustainable development and deep integration, the messages in the book are the compass for young people to confidently step into the new world,” Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Nam Chuan emphasized.
Mr. Chuan believes that the book series "The Road to the Future" when completed will bring a new system of thinking, aiming at the harmonious development between innovation and digital transformation in the new era.
At the workshop, researcher Nguyen Xuan Tuan said that the second part of the project is expected to delve into real-life examples and stories to clarify the feasibility of the proposed thinking frameworks; expand the humanistic depth of development, with experiences of narratives, culture, and people; focus on topics such as: Sustainable economy in rural and urban areas, cultural identity in digital transformation, the role of new economic models (electronic cooperatives, circular economy, night economy, etc.).
To kick off episode 2, researcher Nguyen Xuan Tuan chose France and Sweden as the first two destinations, two countries with many valuable lessons on social models, state governance, institutional reform and sustainable development that Vietnam can refer to in the context of Vietnam promoting digital transformation and administrative reform.
At the conference, most scholars said that in the context of an unstable world with the rapid development of science and technology, big data, and artificial intelligence, which have both positive and negative impacts on the world, the project needs many individuals to contribute and make efforts to gather knowledge from all areas of social life, from economics, culture, science, education, environment to national governance.
The project takes the major pillars from the Party's Resolutions as the guiding foundation, and at the same time widely consults the opinions of the People, businessmen, intellectuals, cooperatives, creative communities and managers./.
