On August 29,FPT Corporation announced the Au Lac Grand Prize, with a total value of 1 million USD. This is the largest award in Vietnam in the field of AI, honoring AI products and solutions developed and owned by Vietnamese people, while affirming the aspiration to build a technologically autonomous country.
The Au Lac Grand Prize is expected to be awarded for 3 consecutive years, starting from 2026. The awarded products and solutions are AI products that create breakthroughs for the socio-economy , with positive and sustainable impacts on the community.
The award is sponsored by the Au Lac AI Alliance, with the participation of a professional council of leaders, experts, businesses and the domestic and international technology community.
In addition to the prize money of 1 million USD, the winning individuals and organizations will also receive advice and support from FPT and the Au Lac AI Alliance to expand their influence domestically and internationally.
The Au Lac Grand Prize was announced on the occasion of National Day September 2 - the 80th anniversary of the founding of the country, carrying sacred meaning, reminding the nation of its aspiration for independence and self-reliance.

Hopefully, the award will become a symbol of the spirit of creativity and dedication, bringing Vietnamese AI to the world."
Previously, in June 2025, responding to the call of General Secretary To Lam and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, FPT Corporation initiated the establishment of the Au Lac AI Alliance. The alliance brings together more than 20 leading technology corporations, research institutes, and universities. The alliance has become a symbol of Vietnam's aspiration to master technology, conquer artificial intelligence, and build a strong nation./.
