Following the success of the Samsung Innovation Campus 2022-2023 program, the Samsung Innovation Campus 2023-2024 program will continue to provide Technology competency development courses for young people aged 14-24.

In particular, since this year, Samsung has focused on promoting the implementation of the Samsung Innovation Campus program and making efforts to expand students' access to relevant knowledge by significantly increasing the teaching time of advanced technology courses including: Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data and 1 Basic Programming Skills Course (Coding & Programming).

These courses will be taught in a combination of online and offline formats to reach students in many provinces and regions across the country.

In addition, with the cooperation with Multicampus - one of the companies of Samsung Group, specializing in human resource development and training, in the next year, Samsung will strive to provide the highest quality learning content, supporting students to have comprehensive access to not only information technology knowledge but also the necessary knowledge and soft skills for their future.

Students who complete the course and achieve the required results will receive a certificate of completion of the Samsung Innovation Campus course, as well as have the opportunity to practice building a final project, applying the knowledge they have learned to solve real-life problems.

Samsung Innovation Campus 2023 – 2024 is expected to bring learning and technology development opportunities to about 6,000 students in Vietnam.

In addition, with the aim of enhancing sustainability in implementation, the Samsung Innovation Campus 2023-2024 program will also organize Teacher Training Courses to support the improvement of professional and pedagogical capacity as well as supplement practical teaching ability. The Teacher Training Courses are designed by leading experts from Samsung Group as well as major research institutions and universities nationwide.

In particular, responding to the call of the Prime Minister of Vietnam, this year Samsung will cooperate with the National Innovation Center (NIC) to implement the Samsung Innovation Campus 2023 - 2024 program.

Accordingly, Samsung plans to build a dedicated lab for the Samsung Innovation Campus program at NIC Hoa Lac campus, and coordinate with NIC to select students to participate in the project. It is expected that about 300 students will participate in Samsung Innovation Campus courses at this facility.

This is one of Samsung's efforts to support and accompany the success and development of the National Innovation Center, thereby realizing its commitments to accompany the development of Vietnam.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Choi Joo Ho - General Director of Samsung Vietnam Complex shared: "It can be said that recently the demand for technology talent in Vietnam is exploding. This is also the context of the 4.0 industrial era and Vietnam's policies as well as the vibrant investment in Vietnam by information technology enterprises. This environment brings wide-open opportunities for young people in Vietnam. If young people in Vietnam have enough capacity to apply and knowledge of information technology, Samsung and global enterprises completely welcome you."

However, according to Mr. Choi Joo Ho, unfortunately, the training of IT talents in Vietnam is still very limited. This is also the reason why Samsung is making more efforts in training IT and science and technology talents in Vietnam through the programs "Samsung Innovation Campus" or "Solve for Tomorrow".

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Ngo Thi Minh assessed that the Samsung Innovation Campus Program is very suitable for the educational policy and is practical in the national digital transformation program for the period 2025 and orientation to 2030.

Samsung Innovation Campus is a global IT education program for young people. The project nurtures young talent with problem-solving skills by providing them with the core skills needed to thrive in the future.

The program was officially launched globally in 2019. This is one of Samsung's typical social responsibility programs and has expanded to 32 countries worldwide such as the US, Germany, Spain, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand...

In Vietnam, the program has also been implemented since 2019. After 5 years, the program has provided about 6,021 Vietnamese youth and about 389 teachers with courses such as C&P, AI, Big Data, IoT. Up to now, the project has expanded to about 40 schools and 20 provinces and cities nationwide.
