Construction of Long Phuoc resettlement area started

On December 27, Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Long Phuoc resettlement area, Long Phuoc commune.

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee, Acting Chairman of the People's Committee Vo Tan Duc; Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Long Thanh District Party Committee Duong Minh Dung; Chairman of the Long Thanh District People's Committee Le Van Tiep.

This is the second resettlement area in Long Thanh district to be built to serve the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project.

Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc issued the order to start construction of the second resettlement area of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project on the morning of December 27.

At the ceremony, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc issued the order to start construction of the Long Phuoc resettlement area.

Accordingly, Long Phuoc resettlement area is invested and built to serve the work of compensation, support and resettlement for people in the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project area and other projects implemented in Long Thanh district in the period of 2021-2025.

Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony.

Long Phuoc resettlement area is planned to be built with a complete and synchronous technical infrastructure system, complying with the approved general planning and connecting with the general infrastructure in the area. When completed, it will create a new, more spacious and better place to live for people and contribute to the economic and social development of the locality.

Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc also requested that investors, construction units, consultants, and supervisors immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony must focus resources to ensure the project is completed on schedule and with quality.

At the same time, ensure traffic safety, labor safety and environmental sanitation to minimize impacts on production and business activities as well as the living environment of people and businesses in the area.

Delegates performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the Long Phuoc resettlement area on the morning of December 27.

Long Phuoc resettlement area has an area of nearly 34 hectares. After the investment is completed, the project will arrange 1,048 resettlement plots with an average area of 80-125m2, meeting the resettlement needs of 4-4.5 thousand people. The total investment of the project is nearly 365 billion VND, with an expected construction time of 420 days.
