- The project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses has created a better life for the people.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Hai, Director of Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant, presented a symbolic board of support for 51 Great Solidarity houses to Mr. Pham Van Hieu, Vice Chairman of Khanh An Commune People's Committee.
This activity is part of the housing support program implemented by PVCFC in disadvantaged localities, demonstrating the company's deep social responsibility to the community, especially in Ca Mau, where the PVCFC Fertilizer Plant is located.
Mr. Pham Viet Phong, Party Secretary and Chairman of Khanh An Commune People's Council, thanked the business for its attention and support for the locality.
With a total budget of nearly 3 billion VND sponsored by PVCFC, each house is built solidly and spaciously with a value of about 60 million VND. These houses not only help households have stable housing, but also give them more confidence and motivation to strive to improve their lives.
Local leaders presented flowers and a plaque recognizing the golden heart as a token of gratitude from the locality to the business.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Hai, Director of Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant, representative of Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company, shared: “In recent times, in addition to promoting production and business, the company has always devoted a large amount of resources to social security work, especially in Ca Mau - the hometown of PVCFC - where the factory is located. We believe that these houses of love not only help people have a safe place to live, but also create more motivation for them to work with peace of mind, rise up from poverty, and stabilize their lives. That is also the sustainable value that PVCFC always aims for throughout its development journey”.
Mr. Pham Van Hieu, Vice Chairman of Khanh An Commune People's Committee, expressed his deep gratitude to PVCFC. After the administrative unit merger, Khanh An Commune still has many poor and near-poor households facing housing difficulties. The support for the construction of 51 Great Solidarity houses this time not only helps people stabilize their lives but also contributes significantly to the completion of the criteria for building advanced new rural areas in the locality.
“We look forward to continuing to receive the support of businesses like PVCFC, so that no one is left behind on the development journey. This is truly a very timely, humane and meaningful program for people in disadvantaged areas,” Mr. Hieu expressed.
Representatives of the Fertilizer Plant and local authorities came to survey the completed houses and understand the feelings of the supported households.
Hundreds of houses have been and are being deployed by PVCFC throughout Ca Mau province, contributing to the local government's efforts to eliminate temporary houses, bringing new hope to households in difficult circumstances.
