Hon Noi, home to thousands of swiftlets in Nha Trang Bay, attracts a large number of tourists to visit, sightsee, and learn about culture and history.

Located more than 12km east of Nha Trang City (Khanh Hoa Province), Hon Noi, also known as Yen Island, is surrounded by fine white sand, colorful coral reefs under clear blue sea water, a favorite destination for tourists who love to explore .
To get to the island, visitors can go to the port to buy a boat ticket and visit the island during the day, the ticket price ranges from 490,000 VND - 790,000 VND per person. The weather on Yen Island is quite mild and cool, visitors can visit from March to September every year because the remaining months have heavy rain and rough seas.
Visiting Yen Island, tourists can conquer Du Ha peak, 90m high, to see the whole view of the sea and island from this height.
Mr. Nguyen The Quang, 32 years old, living in Da Lat, explored Yen Island at the end of June. He said this was his second time visiting the island because "the island is still quite wild, the sea water is clear, there are many interesting things to experience", he said.
Yen Island is endowed by nature with wild, majestic beauty, steep cliffs, blue sea on one side, and cool breeze.
Although there are thousands of swiftlets, with the habit of flying out during the day to find food and returning in the evening, it is difficult for tourists to see this bird on the island. However, tourists can watch hundreds of seagulls soaring.

In Nha Trang sea, seagulls gather at Hon Noi from March to October every year, a sign of calm seas, calm waves, and favorable weather for seafarers.
According to records, in 1328, Tran Dynasty Admiral Le Van Dat discovered the bird's nest islands in the sea of Phu Binh Khang (present-day Khanh Hoa province), opened the bird's nest exploitation industry in this place and was honored as the founder of the profession.
On May 10, 1793, Grand Admiral Le Thi Huyen Tram and many Tay Son navy generals heroically sacrificed their lives to protect the territorial waters and the swallow islands. Since then, she has been revered by the people as the Holy Mother of the Island and is worshiped at the temple on Hon Noi swallow island.
On this day every year, people take boats to the island to celebrate the death anniversary of the Holy Mother and the Tay Son soldiers, and the death anniversary of the founder of the bird's nest industry. On this occasion, many tourists also visit to learn about the history of the formation and development of the "white gold" industry.
Visiting Yen Island, tourists can soak in the crystal clear water. Thanks to the limited number of visitors and environmental protection measures, the island is very clean without a single piece of trash.
